How do we protect critical EC2 Instances without any accidental termination?

To overcome the accidental termination, we have a termination protection feature in AWS.

Where can we see this option?

Select the EC2 Instance - Go to Actions - Instance settings - Change termination protection - Enable - SAVE
Once this is enabled, we can avoid accidental termination.


Removing the termination protection is also the same
Select the EC2 Instance - Go to Actions - Instance settings - Change termination protection - Remove Enable option - SAVE
